JILL DELORY CHMIELINSKI, Director
    
Jill began dancing at age 10.  As a child she studied ballet, tap, and jazz with Caroline “Bubby” Mahar, James “Tony Collins, and E. Virginia Williams (founder of the Boston Ballet Co.).  She attended Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston Teacher Training School in 1964 & 1965.
    
During her senior year in high school she opened Jill Delory School of Dance in Weymouth.  She taught dance for 10 years in Weymouth before moving to Plymouth with her husband and three young sons.  In 1973 Carver Dance Center opened and for 37 years “Miss Jill” has taught two generations of students.
    
Jill is a member of the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston and Greater Brockton Dance Teachers’ Association.


JENNIFER BROWN
    
Jen has been dancing at Carver Dance Center, Inc. since she was three years old.  She has studied jazz, tap, hip-hop, and ballet.  She continued her studies at Bridgewater State College where she also studied modern dance.
    
Jen has been teaching at Carver Dance Center since 1995.  In 1997 she graduated from Bridgewater State College with a degree in dance.  She is a member of Greater Brockton Dance Teachers’ Assoc.
    
Now teaching hip hop and jazz, she assists with many other classes.  Jen also continues to improve her own dance technique by taking classes in Boston.
    
In addition to her dance experience, Jen is certified in Early Childhood Education and Development.  “Miss Jen” resides in Plymouth with her husband and two children.

CHERYL KRUEGER
    
Cheryl has been dancing since 1973.  She began taking classes at Carver Dance Center in 1976.  As a teenager she worked as an assistant teacher at the studio.  She studied ballet with Elaine Bauer, principle at Boston Ballet, and at Cape Cod Ballet with Barry Edson, in addition to dancing at Carver Dance Center.  She studied ballet and modern dance at U Mass Amherst.
    
In 1994 Cheryl began teaching the ballet program at Carver Dance Center.  Maintaining close ties with local dance and theatre companies she has danced with the Cape Cod Ballet and choreographed for local theatre productions.
    
Cheryl has studied the Royal Academy of Dancing syllabus (RAD) as well as Cecchetti, Vagonava, and Bournonville styles of ballet.  She has a deep love of choreography and leans toward the classics with a contemporary edge.
    
She is a member of the Greater Brockton Dance Teachers’ Assoc. and continues to pursue professional development and inspiration through continued study of dance.  “Miss Cheryl” resides in Plymouth with her husband and four children.

TINA SIMONETTA
    
Tina began her dance training at the Berkshire Ballet and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and went on to receive her B.A. in dance from Adelphi University.  She performed, as a member of Actors Equity and Screen Actors Guild, in summer stock, dinner theatre, opera, the circus, fashion shows, commercial, and Bus and Truck Tours.  She has taught ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and musical theatre in various studios and colleges and has been teaching at Carver Dance Center, Inc. for several years.  “Miss Tina” resides in Plymouth with her husband and son.

MELISSA JOHN
    
Melissa began dancing at Carver Dance Center, Inc. at the age of three.  After performing as one of Mary’s Dancing Lambs on stage, “Miss Melissa” was hooked on dance.  She’s trained in ballet, tap, and jazz, but loves teaching her teen/adult hip hop class!  While on a four-year hiatus from Carver Dance Center, she directed two successful shows at Tufts University, starring the Tufts Dance Collective.  In her “spare time”, Melissa is a practicing corporate attorney.  “Miss Melissa” resides in Quincy.

MICHELLE SHEEHAN
    
Michelle has been dancing since she was three years old.  She began her formal training at Boston Conservatory where she earned her B.F.A. in dance.  She has been a member of the Maine Dance Teachers Club, Dance Teachers Club of Boston and Greater Brockton Dance Teachers Association.
    
Michelle has performed and choreographed for many local theatres.  She danced professionally for three years with Fusionworks Modern Dance Co. in Rhode Island.
    
Michelle has extensive teaching experience in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre.  Michelle is currently teaching at N.E. Dance Academy and Carver Dance Center, Inc.  “Miss Michelle” resides in Carver with her husband and three children.

TINA SIMMONS
    
Tina grew up dancing.  She started as a student at the Carver Dance Center, Inc. at the age of seven.  She continued as a student and then turned her talents to teaching.  She has been part of the Dance Center for over 25 years and enjoys working with students in beginner ballet.  Tina is also an elementary school tutor and is pursuing her degree in elementary education with a secondary major in dance and theatre arts.  “Miss Tina” resides in Kingston with her husband and two children.
